Being Thankful

March 14, 2026

Looking back through the years, I feel so grateful for the many places music has taken my students and me. Beyond the lesson room and the concert stage, we’ve shared our music in so many corners of the community — the farmers market, senior centers, libraries, schools, parks, and even the city center.

Each of these places holds special memories: little violins playing under the open sky, smiles from passersby who stopped to listen, seniors singing along to familiar tunes, and young students learning that music is meant to be shared.

These moments remind me that music is not only about practicing and performing — it’s about connection, kindness, and bringing a little bit of joy wherever we go.

And now, this journey continues through our Taiwan Music & Culture Immersion Tour, where students have the opportunity to share their music, connect with local students, and experience the beauty of Taiwan’s culture together.

Grateful for every student, family, and community that has been part of this journey. 🎻
