Suzuki Family Trio Spring 2012 Edition

April 14, 2012

We decided to share another Trio video with all of you to welcome the beautiful spring weather here in California:)

Here’s a picture of how the boys are really enjoying their father/son time together playing violin duets:) It’s so great for parents to play along with their children or if you have more than one child, your children can play together and you can be their audience:) Either way, this is a great way to motivate your child to keep violinin’ 🙂

Sometime in the future, you should have one of you do the cello and one the viola for some Trio variety. *hehe*. 2nd instrument, eh? ;D

    • Yes. a cello or viola one should come pretty soon:) This month I’ll be pretty busy preparing for my student recital and the SAA Conference in Minneapolis, but I will be able to see my violin teacher William Starr again, which is quite exciting!!!!

William Starr is your teacher?? Wow.

You could probably play the viola part, eh? My elder boy took up the Viola after having done violin for 5yrs. Less competitive and more wanted. He started “old” so it makes sense too, vis-a-vis all those many who started as preschoolers and have way more experience.

      • That’s great your older son picked up viola. We always need more violas:) I will attend this year’s SAA conference in MN and I am very much looking forward to introduce William Starr during a session he will be the speaker in. This is my first time attending the SAA conference, but I’m sure it’ll be a very memorable one:)
